STOP BULLYING NOW: Developing Social Competencies and Productive Learning Environments

Each participant will have the opportunity to participate in the Olweus in Northern Virginia Bullying Prevention Poster Walk (featuring displays by participating schools) and in networking activities with others at your school level—elementary, middle or high, or with other administrators—and
Networking at Lunch.

   

Registration will close on September 23 or at 100 registrants.

If you find that you are unable to attend, please e-mail (abass@vcu.edu) by September 20 with the name of a substitute colleague.

Registration/Continental Breakfast begins at 8:30 and the conference will run from 9:00 to 2:15. Lunch may be purchased in the Kelly Leadership Center Cafeteria ($5-$8)

Pre-registration is required. There is no charge for the conference; the fee for registrants of a currently implementing school is a poster display that showcases your school’s Anti-Bullying work. A $25 no-show fee will be assessed each registrant that does not attend yet neither cancels the registration by September 20 nor sends an alternate school representative.

This First Regional Networking Conference of 2009-2010 is designed for teachers, administrators or counselors whose schools who are in various stages of implementing the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program, or who are interested in learning more about school-wide research-proven bullying prevention.
